What is counselling?
At Avow Vitality counselling sessions provide a safe space to talk. People from all walks of life with a variety of issues may decide to have counselling. All sessions are kept confidential however, there are some exceptions when confidentiality is broken such as if the client or someone else is in harm. This will be discussed more in-depth in the first session.

At Avow Vitality Integrative therapy is offered combining person centred counselling, CBT and attachment theory to meet the needs of the client.
What will happen?
Once you have made contact via telephone or email we will arrange to have an initial assessment. This will involve a few questions about yourself and why you want therapy. If I feel I can support you and you are happy to go ahead we will then arrange our first counselling session.

Each counselling session will last for 50 minutes. After every 6 sessions we will review how you are getting on with the therapy.
